Job Title: Support Specialist

This role is responsible for providing high-quality administrative and operational support services to the People Services Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Providing advice and information on matters relating to the employee life cycle, including contract creation and variations, employee movements, leave, hours and related employment conditions;">
  • Liaising with various stakeholders, including staff in the University, to maintain collaborative relationships and ensure successful outcomes and solutions;">
  • Maintaining high-quality and compliance standards by ensuring data integrity of employee records, including input of information into the Oracle People Soft system;">
  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert of the Oracle People Soft system (HCM) to support the organisation;">
  • Acting as a key liaison between the People and Culture and the Payroll team.">

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • ">
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related tertiary qualification;">
  • Excellent operational, organisational and HR administration skills, with demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure, organise workload and manage competing priorities/deadlines;">
  • Problem-solving skills to address queries within policy and process, and the judgement to appropriately refer complex matters for higher-level advice;">
  • Strong computer skills, with knowledge on HR management systems, experience using People Soft would be an advantage;">
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to always maintain confidentiality and discretion.">
