Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base salary of AU$70,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
  • A 7% above-award rate bonus
  • Up to 50% discount off childcare gap fees
  • 6 weeks paid parental leave

In addition to these benefits, we also offer tax benefits through salary packaging, paid professional development opportunities, and two wellbeing days included in your personal leave per year.

Job Description

This role will see you working closely with our Centre Director to provide leadership and support to our centre team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Centre Director in the leadership of the team
  • Mentoring and building capabilities within the centre team
  • Being responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Using and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide

You will have the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality early learning and care to our children and families.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or bachelor's in early childhood education
  • A current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
  • Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
  • Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
  • Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
