Mechanical Project Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee various engineering projects in Australia.

This is a full-time position that involves working with multiple stakeholders, including trades and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating site safety initiatives, supervising staff, and maintaining accurate project records. Additionally, they will be expected to develop and implement effective project management strategies, monitor progress, and report any issues or concerns to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall direction of engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project sponsors, clients, and senior management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Water and Wastewater Industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects, including coordination with multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving project goals and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confined space certification, WAH, goldcard, and rigging ticket/licenses.
