Job Overview

The Debt Capital Markets team is responsible for providing strategic advice and executing transactions for corporations, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors. As an Analyst, you will work alongside senior members to advise on and execute debt capital markets transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and execute domestic and international debt capital markets transactions by developing trade ideas and recommendations for clients, including analysis of debt market funding options and execution considerations.
  • Pitch and negotiate with clients through market updates, pitch materials, pricing information, and case studies.
  • Support transaction execution, drafting marketing materials, offering documentation, and relative value analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date on local and international leveraged finance and debt capital markets trends, communicating via market updates.
  • Build relationships with junior-level clients and liaise with internal and external parties on transactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Experience in debt capital markets / leveraged finance or a banking front office role.
  • Understanding of the transaction cycle and international capital markets.
  • Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills.
  • Well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior professionals, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently.
