Job Overview

The Disability Day Service Practitioner will support clients in achieving their goals and engaging in skill-building activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients in goal-oriented learning, empowering them to push beyond their boundaries.
  • Assist with daily tasks, including personal care, hygiene, and meal support.
  • Promote community inclusion by identifying and facilitating engagement opportunities based on client interests.
  • Encourage client participation in community activities, with support ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4.
  • Foster physical health, communication skills, teamwork, self-confidence, and overall wellbeing.
