About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Hilton Hotels. As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all public areas, such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and elevators, are clean and well-maintained.
  • Promote a positive image of the Hotel by being pleasant, honest, and friendly, addressing guest requests and problems.
  • Support the housekeeping team to ensure pantries are fully stocked/replenished and presentable at the commencement/completion of each shift, to maximize productivity.
  • Attend daily briefings to ensure required information is obtained (special projects, tasks, scheduled cleaning, changeover of items etc.) to carry out daily duties and expectations are achieved.
  • Respond and confirm communication immediately.
  • Deliver clean linen to the allocated area for Room Attendant usage.
  • Collect dirty linen from collection points and dispatch to laundry.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms (guest/staff requests).
  • Remove rubbish from collection points.
  • Assist with room cleaning and other duties out of these shift hours.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the Hotel's products and services, such as facilities, room setup, to assist with guest inquiries and an understanding of the service offerings available across the Hotel.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
  • Passionate and consistent, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive involvement and interaction with the overall team both at individual and entire team level.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
