Restaurant Manager at Guzman y Gomez - Sydney

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our team at Guzman y Gomez in Sydney.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of restaurant staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and delivering outstanding results. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be accountable for driving sales growth, managing budgets, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of restaurant staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support to achieve individual and team goals
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that meets company standards
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to develop and implement business plans and objectives

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-energy setting
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify sales and P&L opportunities
  • Previous success in meeting KPIs, such as sales targets and customer satisfaction scores
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
