Anesthesia Veterinary Nurse Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Anaesthesia and Pain Management team, where you will have the chance to continually develop your skills in anaesthesia and patient care.

Job Description:

  • You will manage a diverse caseload across various services, working collaboratively with clinicians to create bespoke anaesthetic plans for a variety of cases.
  • You will prepare patients for anaesthesia or sedation, including IV placement and administering premeds.
  • You will assist with the safe induction of anaesthesia and prepare patients for an array of surgical and medical procedures.
  • You will confidently manage anaesthetised patients ranging from stable to critical.
  • You will maximise patient safety by utilising multiparameter monitoring equipment and react quickly and attentively to any changes.

  • A strong interest in anaesthesia and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to contribute to the success of the team.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and a desire to build on their knowledge and develop new skills in anaesthesia and patient care.
