We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinary nurse to join our team at Animal Emergency Centre (AEC) in Melbourne. As an ECC Veterinary Nurse, you will have the opportunity to advance your career in emergency and critical care while providing exceptional care to animals and their families during times of crisis.
About the Role:- Nurse patients with life-threatening conditions such as DKA, MODS, GDV, and others.
- Care for patients requiring central lines, high-flow oxygen, ventilators, feeding tubes, and digital systems.
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and other support staff to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop skills in IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and anesthesia monitoring is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- The ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations is essential.
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional care to animals and their owners is necessary.
