At our multi-disciplinary specialist referral and emergency hospital, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our Internal Medicine team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care to animals and their owners.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Veterinary Nurse, preferably in a specialty setting. They will possess strong technical nursing skills, including IV catheter placement, blood sampling, transfusions, feeding tube maintenance, central line care, endoscope set up and care.

As a member of our Internal Medicine team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, planning and scheduling for the day, caring for hospitalized patients and recovering patients after procedures, preparing and facilitating procedures, planning and monitoring anesthesia, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment throughout the hospital, and assisting with consultations.
