Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Care Professional to join our dynamic team. Our hospital is a multi-disciplinary specialist referral and emergency facility, providing exceptional care to animals and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients.
  • Plan and coordinate daily activities, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Care for hospitalized patients, monitoring their progress and providing support during procedures.
  • Prepare patients for medical interventions, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse; specialty experience preferred but training can be provided.
  • Strong technical nursing skills, including IV catheter placement, blood sampling, transfusions, feeding tube maintenance, central line care, endoscope setup and care.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medication dosage, calculations and administration.
  • Excellent anesthesia and monitoring skills, with a willingness to learn from our Anesthesia team.
