Master Diesel Technician

We are seeking an experienced Master Diesel Technician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to work with state-of-the-art technology and contribute to the success of our automotive business.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have full exposure to all aspects of our business, working closely with mechanics and other technicians to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting mechanics and other technicians as required.
  • Dismantling and assembling new and modified diesel pumps and injectors.
  • Selecting the right tools and equipment for tasks.
  • Estimating materials required, quantities, costs, time management, and machine requirements.
  • Calibrating pumps and injectors.
  • Operating test equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to high standards.
  • Complying with ISO standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree qualification or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Some knowledge of diesel fuel injection systems is desired.
  • The ability to dismantle and assemble diesel pumps and injectors.
  • The ability to calibrate pumps and injectors.
  • Ability to operate test equipment.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
