**Job Opportunity: Mechanical Technician Role**

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our organization. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical principles and theories, as well as experience working with low and high voltage systems. You will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Apply documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components
  • Assist with completion of required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements
  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Locally valid driving permit (preferred)
