Parks Management Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and organised professional to manage external contractors, create park care programs, maintain inspection schedules, respond to public enquiries, and assist with policy reviews.
- Manage External Contractors: Ensure compliance with city standards and specifications.
- Park Care Program Development: Liaise with community groups, organise weekend activities and rosters.
- Green Asset Inspection Programs: Maintain schedules and contribute to long-term park improvement and planting plans.
- Communication and Documentation: Respond professionally to public and elected member enquiries.
- Policy Support: Assist with budgeting, policy reviews, and service level documentation.
This role is responsible for enhancing Hobart's parks and open spaces through strategic planning, contractor coordination, and community engagement.
