About the RoleThe Brand Manager - China NPD is a key position responsible for leading the 3-year innovation pipeline for health supplements and food products targeting the China market. This role requires a strong understanding of the China market, consumer trends, and competitor analysis.
The main responsibilities include:
- Designing and launching product innovation projects to drive divisional growth and ensure a robust multi-year innovation pipeline.
- Identifying unmet customer needs and building business cases to turn them into profitable innovation projects.
- Working closely with the business intelligence team to explore next hero products based on industry and category trends.
- Collaborating with manufacturers to deliver world-class innovative products on time.
- Leading a talented NPD team in creating holistic value propositions that meet consumer needs and are sustainable business models.
- Staying up-to-date with China general trade regulations for product compliance.
- Working closely with the China sales team to develop market-specific product strategies.
We are looking for a Nutrition or Marketing related Degree holder with 5+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, preferably with a consumer health industry background. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential, along with high-level accuracy and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to deal with people from different backgrounds and cultures are also required.
