Job Title

Ventia is seeking a hands-on, experienced leader to join the project—bringing ultrafast connectivity to regional and remote Australia.

About the Role:
  • Oversight of civil activities including cable hauling, excavation, and equipment operation
  • Maintenance of safety standards and daily briefings
  • Monitoring of project delivery, quality, and team performance
  • Communication with stakeholders
  • Record-keeping, schedules, and progress reports
  • Operation of plant and equipment: dozer, excavator, vacuum truck, winches, HR trucks
Requirements:
  • HR Licence (preferred) & Construction White Card
  • Experience leading fibre installation crews
  • Strong planning, communication & IT skills
  • Ability to work remotely and live in a caravan when required
  • Desirable tickets: Excavator, Dozer, Traffic Management, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, High Risk Licence
