Job Title: Plough Crew Team Leader

  • Manage a team of approximately 6 in the installation of optic fibre cables using ploughing techniques

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee civil activities including cable hauling, excavation, and equipment operation
  2. Maintain safety standards and lead daily pre-start/toolbox talks
  3. Monitor project delivery, quality, and team performance
  4. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Maintain records, schedules, and progress reports
  6. Operate plant and equipment: dozer, excavator, vacuum truck, winches, HR trucks

Requirements:

  1. HR Licence (preferred) & Construction White Card
  2. Experience leading plough crews in fibre installation (Optic Fibre Plough preferred)
  3. Strong planning, communication & IT skills
  4. Ability to work remotely and live in a caravan when required
  5. Desirable tickets: Excavator, Dozer, Traffic Management, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, High Risk Licence
