We're seeking an accomplished Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex projects and travel internationally.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in building capability within the teams you work with by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and contributing to a culture of technical excellence.
You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems solutions that meet engineering standards and client requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities- Design and implement control systems solutions for mining, mineral processing, and other projects.
- Resolve complex engineering problems using your broad knowledge and skills.
- Take ownership of control system aspects within projects, including developing, reviewing, and approving project deliverables.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals.
- Work closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, project alignment, and successful outcomes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers, fostering their professional growth within the company.
- Participate in unaccompanied site visits and commissioning activities to ensure control systems operate as intended.
- An Engineering degree or similar tertiary qualifications.
- A willingness and readiness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Experience in mining and mineral processing projects/operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency to work independently on control systems project work.
- Experience with generating and interpreting engineering documents such as functional descriptions, alarm registers, C&E matrix, commissioning plans, and inspection test plans.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An interest in mentoring and developing other Engineers.
