Senior Control Systems Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team. This is an ongoing, full-time position that requires relevant engineering qualifications recognized by Engineers Australia.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Rockwell, Yokogawa or Siemens DCS and PCS systems. They should also be willing to travel nationally and internationally up to 30% of the time to work on projects and collaborate with clients.

The role involves designing, configuring and commissioning control systems, producing high-quality technical documentation and ensuring effective coaching and training of junior Engineers. The successful candidate will lead onsite operational projects and have prior onsite operational experience.

The selected candidate must possess relevant engineering qualifications recognized by Engineers Australia and be capable of traveling nationally and internationally. They should also have proven ability to work independently while adhering to project timelines and prior experience working either on a mining operational site or on mining projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure and commission control systems, including experience working with Rockwell, Yokogawa or Siemens DCS and PCS systems.
  • Travel nationally and internationally, up to 30% of the time, to work on projects and collaborate with clients.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation and ensure effective coaching and training of junior Engineers.
