Expert Control Systems Engineer

You will have the opportunity to work on complex projects and travel internationally.

This role requires you to design, develop, and implement control systems solutions for mining and mineral processing projects. You must ensure they meet engineering standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing control systems solutions.
  • Resolving complex engineering problems using broad knowledge and skills.
  • Taking ownership of control system aspects within projects.
  • Producing technical documentation including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals.
  • Working closely with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
  • Participating in site visits and commissioning activities.

Requirements include:

  • An Engineering degree or similar tertiary qualifications.
  • A willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Experience in mining and mineral processing projects/operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency to work independently on control systems project work.
  • Experience with generating and interpreting engineering documents.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • An interest in mentoring and developing other Engineers.
