Job Title: Senior Control Systems Engineer, Water
About This RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop control systems that meet industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is essential; RPEQ is highly desirable.
- 5–15 years of experience delivering control systems for projects in power generation, oil and gas, and other process industries.
- Proven capability in specification, concept and detailed design, testing, and commissioning.
- Certified Functional Safety Engineer Hazardous Area – Classification, Design, Installation & Maintenance
- Control Systems Maintenance
- Proficiency with current DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and actuators.
- Ability to prepare designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports, and conduct audits and due diligence.
- Experience managing medium-complexity projects and leading teams, including mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong client focus with a track record in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, who is consultative, able to prioritise their work and get things done. The successful candidate will be a team player, and able to work with a range of stakeholders including influencing senior leaders.
