Job Role

We seek an experienced Senior Tax Professional to contribute to our organisation's success.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in accounting, finance or equivalent business discipline and be committed to completing their CPA or CA certification.

They should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in public practice, with demonstrated proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero and BGL360, and a comprehensive understanding of the Australian Tax System.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written communication and reporting skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities include providing taxation consulting and compliance services, business advisory consulting services, preparation of income tax returns and financial statements, and more.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Taxation consulting and compliance services
  • Business advisory consulting services, including superannuation advice
  • Preparation of income tax returns and financial statements for Trusts, Self-Managed Super Funds, Companies, and Individuals
  • Preparation of monthly BAS and IAS
  • Business formation and structuring, including financial and taxation advice on the business's structure, plans, and operations
Key Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in accounting, finance or equivalent business discipline
  • Commitment to complete CPA or CA certification
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in public practice
  • Demonstrated experience using accounting software (Xero and BGL360)
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Australian Tax System
