About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and support FBT, BAS, and PAYG compliance
  • Assist with statutory accounts under IFRS and coordinate with external auditors
  • Manage tax and statutory filings for the New Zealand entity
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and tax reporting packages for head office
  • Support SOX documentation and compliance processes
  • Partner with finance and operational teams on various projects and initiatives
  • Respond to ATO queries, audits, and reviews

You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tax-related tasks.

Requirements
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
  • Solid experience in corporate tax and/or statutory accounting
  • Strong knowledge of audit and statutory reporting requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in partnering with the business
