Joining H&R Block as a seasonal, Experienced Tax Professional means you'll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you'll need to be successful.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools — video, phone, chat, or email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
• Mentor and support teammates.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment (or Tax Knowledge Assessment).
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience completing individual returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with virtual tools — video, phone, and chat.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Must meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is neither an offer nor a guarantee of employment.
• Must meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
