RFI Global is a leading research agency, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Research Analyst to join our team in Australia or New Zealand. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global team, delivering business-focused insights to clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Analyst to advance the depth and actionability of insights provided to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of insights, liaising with clients on their needs, and ensuring timely delivery that exceeds expectations.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a research agency environment or research role. They should have experience working with banks/financial services providers, delivering presentations to clients, and using data/research software such as SPSS and Q. Additionally, they should have experience managing primary research from design stage through delivery and working with external panel suppliers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Advance the depth and actionability of insights provided to clients, ensuring timely delivery that exceeds expectations
  • Maintain deep understanding of client's strategic priorities and how these can be addressed via research
  • Oversee and provide feedback on output produced by junior members of the team, inclusive of drafted survey questions, analysis, and client presentations
  • Identify and implement innovative research approaches and methodologies
  • Conduct training on Q, analysis techniques
  • Ensure smooth running of business-focused programs in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring fieldwork is completed without delay and final data received is of expected quality
  • Be key point of contact for clients where they have questions on what has been delivered or could be delivered
  • Contribute to identification of opportunities to improve way clients are serviced and to enhance client value
  • Deliver selected client presentations virtually/in-person
  • Support Client Success in attending client calls to take client briefs/writing analysis plans
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a research agency environment or research role
  • Experience working with banks/financial services providers
  • Experience delivering presentations to clients or desire to do so
  • Experience using data/research software such as SPSS and Q
  • Experience managing primary research from design stage through delivery
  • Experience working with external panel suppliers
  • Ability to focus on client service above all else
  • Desire to work on own in fast-moving environment with entrepreneurial focus
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to challenge status quo and think outside the box
