Moonlight Cinema's Venue Manager will lead operations at our Melbourne location in the Royal Botanic Gardens.

This role is ideal for an experienced team leader with a passion for events and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

About This Role:

  • ">
  • Manage daily site operations, including setup and pack-down">
  • Coordinate season preparation, including production scheduling">
  • Lead a team of 60 onsite crew members, working closely with Assistant Venue Managers and Production Managers">
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff">
  • Oversee food & beverage operations (ordering, invoice processing, and stock control)">
  • Ensure sponsorship activations meet contractual deliverables to a high standard">
  • Prepare rosters and manage payroll">
  • A/V operations, including screen and audio setup and content management">
  • Implement management plans and ensure WHS compliance">

You'll Be Successful If:

  • ">
  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role">
  • You've previously worked in food and beverage and customer service">
  • Cinema or event management experience is advantageous">
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills">
  • You have initiative, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills">
  • You can quickly learn new systems, processes, and operational requirements">
  • You've led and motivated casual workforces before">
  • You have strong stakeholder management and time management skills">
  • You approach challenges collaboratively with a can-do attitude">
  • You hold a current RSA certification and valid driver's license">
