About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Management Officer to join our Corporate Trust team at Perpetual. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective client relationships, acting on client instructions, and responding to various enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective client relationships
  • Act promptly on client instructions and respond to inquiries
  • Provide timely information and reports to clients and stakeholders
  • Manage bank account openings, closures, and user administration
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Issue client correspondence and manage account-related queries
  • Verify documentation and conduct due diligence
  • Support Senior Management with operational improvements

About You

We are looking for a talented individual with:

  • Previous experience within a banking operations/administration role
  • Ability to effectively manage and mitigate fraud and risk-related matters
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and quickly grasp new concepts
  • An understanding of trusts and related documentation
  • Solid grasp of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and the Financial Services Industry
  • Understanding of Privacy Act obligations, relevant industry codes, and legislation
