Support Worker Role in Sydney's Inner West

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Sydney's Inner West, providing support to older individuals in their own homes.

About the Job:

  • Assist with daily living tasks such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social events.
  • Provide personal care services including hygiene assistance, toileting support, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly and accommodate changing client needs.
  • A current driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
