Commercial Analyst WA Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our team in Western Australia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives and providing data-driven insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive regional forecast and budget processes, engaging with senior regional operational leaders to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
  2. Perform financial analysis to review business performance and key trends against strategic priorities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive business performance.
  3. Provide internal and external reporting requirements, including project data, backlog analysis, P&L, and operational cash flow statements.
  4. Oversee robust review processes for projects, including revenue recognition, cash flow management, and regular review of project costs.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in commercial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial planning and reporting principles.
