About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated disability support worker to assist with in-home exercises, daily living activities, and social outings. The ideal candidate will be easy-going, communicative, and willing to learn.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in supporting people with cerebral palsy or similar conditions
  • Manual handling and transfer techniques skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or Individual Support, and a current Working with Children Check. A First Aid certification and CPR certificate are also essential.

Other Requirements

The role requires the ability to work in a home setting with pets and travel to various locations as needed. The successful candidate will be required to provide two professional references and undergo a background check prior to commencing employment.
