Job Title: Oce Supervisor

FIFO (8/6 roster - 6 full days at home) with benefits including flights, accommodation and meals provided.
We are currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified Open Cut Examiner to oversee mining crews regarding daily operations.

Your extensive experience and knowledge of Truck and Shovel operations and mining practices combined with your strong understanding of open cut mining methods safety compliance and Coal Mining legislation will be key to securing the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct statutory inspections and compliance activities on site.
  • Coordination of equipment and resources to achieve mining daily production plans and targets.
  • Investigation and reporting of incidents in a professional and timely manner.
  • Supervision of any site contractors operating within the mining production areas.
  • Manage production priorities and activities to ensure production targets are achieved.

To Be Successful In This Position You Will Also Have:

  • OCE QLD statutory qualifications.
  • S1 S2 S3 and G2 certifications.
  • Experience working in open cut coal mining environments.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • The ability to operate under pressure and work with a wide range of stakeholders.
