About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advisor to join our Corporate and Technology Division. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic advice and support to the First Assistant Secretary and other senior executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, influential advice to stakeholders on strategic priorities and business improvement initiatives.
  • Lead a small team to deliver business improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Anticipate and identify emerging risks and sensitivities, and demonstrate sound judgement in managing competing priorities.
  • Manage a small team responsible for coordinating and supporting the division's involvement in ministerial and parliamentary matters.
Requirements
  • Eligibility: Australian citizenship is required, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
  • Security Clearance: Negative Vetting Level 1 (Secret) is required.
  • Pre-employment screening checks, including an Australian Criminal History Check, will be conducted.
