Lead Corporate Banking Expert

This is a key leadership role that requires the ability to lead a team of professionals in corporate banking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, credit structuring, and relationship management.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Relationship Management role within Banking or Financial Services. They must also possess a strong knowledge of corporate lending products, credit structuring, and financial analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating new credit proposals, restructuring existing facilities, and managing post-settlement client relationships. They will also need to conduct industry research and stay up to date with relevant regulatory changes.

In terms of skills, candidates should have excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. They must also be able to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate new credit proposals and restructure existing facilities as needed to optimize portfolio performance and client outcomes
  • Prepare comprehensive credit and financial analyses in line with the Bank's policies, procedures, and risk appetite
  • Conduct industry research and stay up to date with relevant regulatory changes and their potential impact on clients and portfolio strategy
  • Manage post-settlement client relationships, monitor ongoing financial performance, and identify early signs of credit deterioration or default risk
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Relationship Management role within Banking or Financial Services
  • Strong knowledge of corporate lending products, credit structuring, and financial analysis
  • Working knowledge of AML/CTF and KYC requirements for large corporate clients
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with effective marketing and commercial negotiation skills
