About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Operations Manager to join our Westfield Innaloo team. This role comes with diverse responsibilities, focusing on leading the security and risk management operations of the Centre.

As a key member of our asset management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of safety and security for our employees, contractors, retailers, and valued customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Proactively plan and deliver priorities from our Safety Framework, providing a safe and secure environment that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Manage hazard identification, incidents, emergencies, near misses, and claims in a proactive and efficient manner.
  • Oversee safety audits and inspection programs to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage compliance with security and health and safety policies, procedures, and practices at the Centre.
  • Attend to Centre emergencies, ensuring risk and security staff and contractors are trained to deal with all emergencies.
  • Develop strong relationships with external service providers and contract security staff.

About You:

You bring a strong background in security, risk management, and workplace health and safety, coupled with a leadership approach defined by warmth, approachability, and engagement.

Technically, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualifications or related experience in Work Health and Safety.
  • Solid experience in risk and security management in retail, property, hospitality, entertainment, leisure, or other services industry.
  • Ability to mitigate and manage risk, manage incident response, and follow through with reporting, authority interaction, and assisting with insurance claims management.
