About the Role:

  • Location: Rockingham, Western Australia

The successful candidate will oversee all security operations at HMAS Stirling, managing a team of over 40 Security Officers. Key responsibilities include Access Control, CCTV Operations, Patrolling, and Alarm Response, while also focusing on stakeholder engagement and strict adherence to contractual obligations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Supervise and support a team of 40+ Security Officers
  • Set clear expectations and maintain high standards in line with Defence and Wilson Security requirements
Contract and Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily operations in Access Control, CCTV monitoring, Patrolling, and Alarm Response
  • Ensure compliance with the Base Services Security Contract
Stakeholder Engagement and Compliance:
  • Build strong relationships with Defence stakeholders
  • Maintain rigorous adherence to health, safety, and security standards

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain an NV1 Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance
  • Ideal 3+ years of security leadership experience managing large teams in high-profile, high-security environments
  • WA Security License and Australian Citizenship required for Defence clearance

  • A dedicated and experienced security professional with a passion for leadership and excellence
  • Proficiency in Access Control, CCTV Operations, Patrolling, and Incident Response
  • Strong knowledge of the Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF) and ability to interpret the Security Services Industry Award 2020
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills for effective communication in a classified setting
