Job Overview:

Our organization seeks an experienced assurance professional to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the assurance program.

This role involves supporting management with business-aligned control responsibilities, collaborating with stakeholders across departments, and building a strong control environment and culture.

We are looking for a skilled individual who can work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively.

  • Design risk-based controls assurance plans, including analysing and assessing established controls against defined methodology.
  • Develop and maintain control assurance testing schedules and associated work allocations.
  • Manage communication and expectations related to assurance testing plans across teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide consultation, facilitation, and analytical support to ensure testing plans are executed according to expected standards.
  • Execute ongoing quality assurance reviews against established frameworks, providing feedback and education as required.
  • Engage in partnership with managers and business stakeholders to improve the control environment, culture, and capabilities within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of operational aspects of financial services industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in a risk or assurance-related role, preferably within a financial services organization or professional services firm.
  • Understanding of control methodologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, with ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working collaboratively across functional departments in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to build and maintain productive relationships.
