Sydney Contract: Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

FourQuarters Recruitment seeks a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract to support and enhance its critical IT infrastructure in Sydney. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Windows and VMware management, with experience in implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions, cloud migrations, and endpoint security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a virtualized Windows and VMware ESXi environment, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Implement and oversee Veeam and other DR solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Lead transitions of legacy systems to modern environments.
  • Monitor, manage, and report on endpoint protection and cybersecurity software.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, ensuring compliance with incident, change, and release policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with strong Windows and VMware expertise.
  • Certifications: VCP, MCSE, or related certifications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and VMware Horizon.
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Perl, or Python skills preferred.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
