About the Role

An industry leader in creating exceptional customer experiences is seeking a talented Network Delivery Engineer to design and deliver innovative network solutions in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

The Opportunity

As a Network Delivery Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage critical network infrastructure to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving business. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical expertise with opportunities to lead impactful projects, collaborate with industry partners, and mentor a talented team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Lead network projects from planning to execution, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to safeguard infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance and conduct tuning and optimization to ensure peak performance.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and make strategic recommendations for improvements.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing complex network infrastructures (LANs, WANs, cloud networks).
  • Expertise in network security practices and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering network projects from conception to completion.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and optimizing performance.
  • Strong documentation skills, including creating diagrams, configuration guides, and technical reports.
Desirable Extras

A strong candidate for this role will also have:

  • Network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or PowerShell.
  • Experience with tools such as SolarWinds or ServiceNow.
