About the Role

The Restaurant Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of our restaurants. This involves providing outstanding quality, service, and cleanliness to our guests through their people.

Duties
  • Conduct structured training for crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Deliver individual coaching & mentoring sessions to help team members achieve their full potential.
  • Develop shift plans to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Drive sales & profitability by identifying areas of improvement and implementing strategies to maximize growth.
  • Monitor production controls to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Complete business reporting for sales, service & safety to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain profitability by closely monitoring costs and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Manage all shift safety & hygiene requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills & Experience
  • Retail or Hospitality leadership experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive guest experience.
  • Exceptional organisational & time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues and guests.
  • Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Management Training Plan

As a successful candidate, you will undertake a comprehensive 12-week training program to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

Training Program Overview
  • Crew Station Training (Weeks 1-6): Gain hands-on experience in completing crew tasks and develop a deeper understanding of restaurant operations.
  • Leadership/Management Training (Weeks 7-11): Learn about basic shift running, policies, procedures, expectations, goal setting, KPIs, food safety, and delegation.
  • Certification (Week 12): Review your training plan, complete shift audits, and demonstrate your readiness to run a shift unsupervised.
