About Chennai Palace, a leading Indian Restaurant Chain in Adelaide, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants, ensuring seamless service delivery and maximizing customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in restaurant management, who is able to lead and motivate staff, implement effective systems and processes, and drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing front-of-house and kitchen operations to ensure efficient service delivery;
  • Selecting, training, rostering, supervising, and performance managing waitering and kitchen staff;
  • Organizing marketing activities, including promotional menus as sanctioned by the Director;
  • Advising on menu planning in consultation with the Director and chef to best reflect the tastes of our patronage;
  • Preparing stock and resource reports, including staff control, inventory control, and sales;
  • Liaising with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar position. A competitive salary package of $75,000 + Super is on offer, reflecting your skills and experience.
