Lead Healthcare Growth Strategist

Drive growth, strengthen brand, and shape the future of healthcare at Macquarie University Health.

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand health services, referral networks, and funding sources
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns for Macquarie University Hospital and Clinics
  • Strengthen the Macquarie University Health brand and ensure alignment with the University's master brand
  • Manage external vendors and marketing ROI reporting

About You (Selection Criteria)

You are a strategic leader who thrives on building partnerships, developing brands, and delivering measurable business outcomes. With sustained senior experience in business development and/or marketing in the healthcare sector, you bring:

  • Proven success in driving growth strategies and brand transformation.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and balance competing priorities.

  • An established network of clinicians, referrers, vendors and partners within the healthcare sector.

  • A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to mission-driven care.

  • A hands-on approach with a responsive, business outcome and service-oriented mindset.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, administration, or health management (or extensive equivalent experience).
