Your Contribution

We are seeking a dedicated Raw Materials Planner to enhance our central planning operations. In this role, you will oversee the strategic planning of raw materials across a diverse range of suppliers and material categories, ensuring alignment with organizational KPIs and budgetary constraints. You will also engage in regular communication with suppliers to facilitate forecast exchanges, address gaps, optimize inventory, and manage performance metrics.

Contract Type - This position is a fixed-term contract.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assess and track the requirements for a specified portfolio of materials and suppliers to guarantee availability for production facilities.
  • Initiate and manage purchase orders for materials needed by the operations team to adhere to tactical and changeover schedules.
  • Evaluate daily material forecasts, identify potential risks, and collaborate with site scheduling teams to propose risk mitigation strategies.
  • Comprehend and manage the changeover requirements and timelines for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.
  • Ensure that inventory levels are maintained in accordance with corporate policies.

About You

  • Experience in a similar role within the FMCG sector or a comparable fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in SAP or equivalent systems.
  • Strong grasp of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Planning principles.
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and change management skills.
