Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal advice and support our business operations. In this role, you will be responsible for structuring and settling banking and finance transactions, providing expert legal guidance on regulatory requirements, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

About You

You're a qualified legal practitioner with 6-8 years PQE experience gained in private practice or in-house within the banking and finance sector. You possess strong technical legal skills, practical knowledge of banking and finance transactions, and the ability to navigate complex legislative frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structuring and settling banking and finance transactions.
  • Providing expert legal advice on regulatory requirements, including under the Corporations Act, ASIC Act, and BCOP.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
