Digital Accessibility Advisor Role Description">

As a Digital Accessibility Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital products of an organization by ensuring they are accessible and usable for people with disabilities.

This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to embed accessibility throughout the design and development lifecycle. Your expertise will be invaluable in identifying and resolving accessibility issues in wireframes, prototypes, and front-end code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and researchers across multiple projects to ensure seamless integration of accessibility features.
  • Conduct manual accessibility testing using assistive technologies such as screen readers, speech-to-text, and magnifiers to identify areas for improvement.
  • Influence and support automated accessibility testing to streamline the development process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in accessibility across mobile apps (Android/iOS) and responsive web.
  • Deep understanding of WCAG, ARIA/WAI-ARIA, and platform-specific guidelines.
  • Hands-on knowledge of assistive technologies and how people with disabilities use them.
  • Experience reviewing Figma/Axure designs and collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for inclusive design.
