Accessibility Expert

Digital Accessibility is a vital component of our mission to deliver inclusive experiences.

We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Manager to join our team. As an Accessibility Manager, you will work closely with UX and UI designers, product owners, engineers, and QA engineers across digital portfolios to ensure seamless and accessible web and app interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with digital squads to review designs, define accessibility build requirements, perform conformance testing, and provide accessibility sign-off.
  • Provide support for digital experiences, including websites, native mobile apps, and payment hardware.
  • Develop resources to support and uplift digital accessibility capability.
  • Contribute to strategic digital accessibility initiatives in Retail Banking Services and Business Banking.
  • Share and standardize accessibility knowledge and techniques with the team.
  • Present about digital accessibility to internal audiences.
  • Respond to ad-hoc digital accessibility queries.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital accessibility working directly with design, technical, and business roles.
  • Extensive experience using assistive technologies and adaptive strategies across devices.
  • Deep knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines v2.2 and WAI-ARIA markup.
  • Experience using accessibility testing tools.
  • The ability to explain digital accessibility to any audience.
  • A strong understanding of accessibility features and limitations across platforms.
