Job Title:

Accessibility Consultant - Designing Inclusive Digital Experiences

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Accessibility Specialist to collaborate with our design and development teams in creating user-centric digital products that cater to diverse abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embed accessibility principles throughout the design and development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple projects, promoting inclusive design practices
  • Identify and resolve accessibility barriers in wireframes, prototypes, and front-end code
  • Conduct manual accessibility testing using assistive technologies (screen readers, speech-to-text, magnifiers)
  • Influence and support automated accessibility testing initiatives
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in accessibility across mobile apps (Android/iOS) and responsive web
  • In-depth knowledge of WCAG, ARIA/WAI-ARIA, and platform-specific guidelines
  • Hands-on expertise in assistive technologies and their applications for people with disabilities
  • Experience reviewing Figma/Axure designs and collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for inclusive design
Nice to Have:
  • Experience conducting usability testing with people with disabilities
  • Familiarity with inclusive design methodologies and accessibility on emerging platforms

Initial 12-month contracts are available, with potential extension based on performance.
