Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide respite and emotional support, recognizing the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they receive the care and support they need.
  • Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, with empathy and understanding.

Requirements
  • You must be a compassionate and empathetic individual, committed to assisting our aged community.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle are essential for this role.
  • You should be able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers.
  • A minimum of three days' availability, Monday to Friday, is required for this position.
  • You will work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and seeking support when needed.
