About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Assist customers with cleaning, laundry, and other domestic tasks to ensure their home remains safe and comfortable.
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to help customers maintain their independence.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Assist customers with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring they have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Social Support and Transport: Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping customers stay connected with their community.
  • Respite and Emotional Support: Offer respite and emotional support to customers, providing a listening ear and helping them cope with challenging situations.
  • Complex Care: Provide complex care services, including dementia care, to customers with high care needs.

Requirements
  • Experience: Have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • Certifications: Hold a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability: Be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems.
