Job Title: Project Data Insights Analyst

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Data Insights Analyst to join our team at BAE Systems Australia in Osborne, SA.

In this key role, you will be supporting the Reporting Performance Manager in developing and establishing a live dashboard environment for the Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with delivery teams to enhance Program Metrics/KPIs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Design solutions that meet business requirements with cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate and compile Program Performance reporting from delivery teams ensuring measurements are submitted in line with reporting objectives and quality requirements
  • Attend and participate in project review meetings
  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision making
  • Lead or support the resolution of Program Issues as determined by the Program Lead Team
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a project or business management role
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering discrete project outcomes within a low complexity project environment
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Dashboard Development (PowerBI, Tableau) experience
  • Proven knowledge and expertise in Business Intelligence tools and techniques to analyse, interpret and present data in various formats and forums to address business needs
  • High level writing and presentation skills that extend to clear and accurate reports suitable for a management audience
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
