Project Overview

BAE Systems Australia is seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team in Osborne, SA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Reporting Performance Manager in developing and establishing a live dashboard environment for the Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to enhance program metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Work with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Design solutions that meet business requirements through cross-functional collaboration
  • Compile program performance reporting from delivery teams, ensuring measurements align with reporting objectives and quality standards
  • Participate in project review meetings and provide recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making
  • Lead or support the resolution of program issues as determined by the program lead team

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in project or business management roles
  • Proven track record of planning and delivering discrete project outcomes within low-complexity project environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in dashboard development using PowerBI and Tableau
  • Contemporary knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and techniques for data analysis, interpretation, and presentation
  • High-level writing and presentation skills for clear and accurate reports suitable for a management audience
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations
